On October 5-6, Saksara, in collaboration with the Western Australian Government, Study Perth, and all WA government universities and training institutes will host the Postgraduate Degrees in Minerals and Energy for Indonesia Event.
An exciting new collaboration has recently been announced that will ensure Wa remains at the forefront of resources research. The National Resource Sciences Preecinct (NRSP) is to position Perth as the world’s capital for minerals research and ensure global competitiveness of the Australian resources sector by linking innovative research to industry.
NRSP is a CSIRO, Curtin University and The University of Western Australia collaboration connecting some of the world's best researchers with industry and government to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing the resources industry.
The Precinct has been formed to:

Capitalise on the concentration of multinational companies and world-standard resources research capability already in Western Australia
Mount research infrastructure projects of scale and quality
