About the Position

Essential Criteria 

• A degree in any branch of the social sciences / humanities / economics —and in which you have developed high level critical and analytical thinking skills; and excellent writing and communications skills.

• The ability to work both autonomously and within project teams.

• Self-directed with initiative and professional level time-management skills.

• Proficient English language skills—in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

• A curious mindset with the ability to embrace new knowledge, new ideas, and changing research contexts.

• A practical and proficient level of technological literacy, particularly working with information and data—and creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

• Experience in automating referencing citations with Mendeley or Endnote.

Additional Qualifications an Advantage

• Post-study or extracurricular research experience—either fieldwork or desk research

• Some knowledge and understanding of the history, culture, economy and politics of Asian nations.

• Experience in the development and refinement of AI prompts for the automation of research related tasks.

• Candidates with some international or intercultural experience will be advantaged
